The official trailer of Saand Ki Aankh is out now and gives a glimpse of the life of Haryana-based shooters, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro, portrayed by Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar, respectively.

Saand Ki Aankh is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Reliance entertainment and Anurag Kashyap. Starcast named Taapsee Pannu, Bhumi Pednekar along with Prakash Jha, Vineet Kaur, and Shaad Randhawa. Saand Ki Aankh is releasing worldwide on this Diwali.
Saand Ki Aankh storyline is based on true event, How the two old women went on to become the world’s oldest sharp-shooters. Despite all the odds, they won 352 medals each in the course of their veteran professional life as a shooter.
Before 1998, Johri village was just like any other village in India. But during this time something extraordinary started which took this village to national level and international levels of success and fame. As a result of which this village had become an inspiring example for the entire nation.
At the age of 50 Shooter dadi picked up a gun for the sake of their daughters in the hope of encouraging them towards a bright future. They did not want their daughters to share the same fate of a lifetime of suppression. What unfolded was nothing short of miraculous. They discovered their own skill of being exceptional shooters.
The trailer starts with Prakash Jha, in the role of Ratan Singh, saying, “Ye bandook mazak na hai. Ye mardo ka gehna hai aur mardo ke hath he achhi lage hai.”In the next scene, we see Chandro shooting at the bull’s eye effortlessly, later joined by Prakashi.
Taapsee lived with Chandro and Prakashi at their house in Haryana to get into her character of Prakashi. She took to Instagram to share the video, talking about her stay in their village.
Tapsee also dedicated this movie to all the mothers around the world who spend their whole life for their children.
