The trailer of Mardaani 2 is out on Youtube featuring Rani Mukherjee as the lead actor continuing her legacy with Mardaani. After the success of Mardaani and retaining Rani Mukherjee in Mardaani 2, the movie is all set to release on the 13th of December 2019.  Rani Mukherjee who is playing the character of an IPS level cop named as Shivani Shivaji Roy. The movie is written and directed by Gopi Puthran and is produced by Aditya Chopra.
